| Konpal is a non political, non sectarian, non governmental voluntary social welfare organization, conceived in August 2004 by a group of committed individuals belonging to various professions, concerned with the rising incidence of abuse against children.The organization is registered under the voluntary social welfare agencies, (registration control) ordinance, 1961 (XLVI of 1961) on March 21st 2005.
Konpal is tax exempted and Pakistan Center for Philanthropy (PCP) certified (2013) organization. Konpal Child Abuse Prevention Society (CAPS) members are Child Rights activists who share the common vision of society free of child abuse with zero tolerance against sexual abuse and commercial sexual exploitation of children, involvement of children in hazardous occupation, armed conflicts and violence. Konpal Child Abuse Prevention Society (CAPS) is an uninterrupted struggle for children Rights and Prevention of all forms of Child Abuse and Neglect including Physical, Sexual, Emotional, Social, Educational and Medical Neglect. |
