  • 30th May, 2023 Sindh Child Protection Authority organized a meeting at PC Hotel, Karachi

  • 16th May, 2023 Pakistan Central for Philanthropy (PCP) team visited Konpal office.

  • 22nd March, 2023, Visited LK Village along with Mr. and Mrs. Najam Sehar and distributed Eid Clothes among the men of village donated by Mr. Shahid and Dr. Farzana Nasir.

    8th March, 2023 On the occasion of International Women’s Day” Konpal in collaboration with Department of Paediatrics unit I DUHS organized a one day capacity building workshop for mother admitted with their sick children and staff of Paediatrics ward.

  • 2nd March, 2023 Autism Management program free webinar on “Understanding Child Abuse and Neglect” protection of Children with special needs.

  • 8 February, 2023 Meeting was held with Dr. Pamela Marshal and Mrs. Shahnaz Zaman of Dr. Ziauddin Hospital with Dr. Aisha Mehanz and Ms. Shahnaz Yasin discuss future plan of LKV for the year 2023.

  • 5 February, 2023 “Women Health in Disaster” was the theme of recently held SIRM (Sindh Institute of Reproductive Medicine) and the 8th Midwifery conference held at Movin Pick Hotel, Karachi konpal was represented by Dr. Aisha Mehanz who during the panel discussion highlighted the activities of konpal held during recent rain and flood like situation in Long Khan Khoso Village ( LKV) near Hyderabad.

  • 23rd January, 2023 Konpal was represented by Mr. Muhammad Adil (Program Manager) and Mr. Abdul Majid (accountant) to attend the training workshop organized by Pakistan Central for Philanthropy (PCP) at Qasimabad, Hyderabad.

2022

  • 26th November, 2022 Konpal team celebrated Universal Children Day with the Children and their Mothers and staff members of PANAH Shelter home, Karachi.

  • 20th November 2022 On the occasion of Universal Children Day Konpal organized the walk from Arts Counsil of Karachi to Karachi press club.

  • 19th November, 2022 konpal team attended consultative meeting at Sindh Social Welfare Institute.
  • On 30th October, 2022 Konpal in collaboration with PPA and CRC held a seminar on CAN.

  • 26th Biennial  Paediatrics International Conference held from 28th To 30th October, 2022.

  • Konpal team paid a day long visit to Long Khoso Village on 2nd October 2022 after rain and flood havoc.

  • Konpal Child Abuse Prevention Society in collaboration with department of Paeds unit 2 Civil Hospital Karachi has organized a mother;s Training workshop on “Enhancement of Mother’s Skill in Child care and protection ” on 27 September 2022.

  • On 20th September, 2022 Konpal Participated in Health Cum Awareness Raising Camp at Musa Colony Liaqatabad, Karachi. 

    6th August, 2022 On the occasion of World Breast Feeding Week , Konpal in collaboration with PMA organized a seminar at School of Midwifery Kohi Goth Malir.

  • Konpal Initiative awareness raising session on Capacity Building and Empowering women and children at LK Village. 15 konpal members visited the village to start its 1st of the series of workshop on Capacity Building and Empowering building, youth and children on 2nd July 2022

  • Dr. Aisha Mehnaz also represented Konpal at the second international conference on Psychiatric at Lahore, 13 June 2022. 

  • Dr. Aisha Mehnaz presented konpal in a workshop on promoting parenting and child protection organized by PEHCHAN (NGO) Lahore based as a panelist on 13th June 2022.

  • Konpal team based on Dr. Aisha Mehnaz, Ms. Shahnaz Yasin and Muhammad Adil visited at Long Khan Khoso Village, Hyderabad. 18th May 2022.
  • Konpal set up a stall at Behbud Spring Festival on 19th March 2022 at Beach view Park.
  • Medical Camp organized by KONPAL at Village on 15th March 2022 at Long Khoso Village, Tando Saeed Hayderabad.
  • Konpal caps in collaboration with the HELP NGO organized a one-day workshop at Khuda ki Basti surjani town on 19th January 2022.

2021

Pediatric conference was held from 10 to 12 December 2021 at Islamabad. The conference included a Child Rights session and a workshop on parenting.

On the occasion of Universal Children Day Konpal, CAPS organized a Walk In collaboration with Medical and Social Welfare Committee, Arts Council of Pakistan on Saturday 20th November, 2021 Time 10:00am at Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi.

On the occasion of International Day of Girl Child, Konpal has organizes a webinar ” Empowering Girls” on Sunday 10th October 2021 at 5pm.

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY CELEBRATION

  • On 8th March, 2021, Konpal, Child Abuse Prevention Society celebrate Universal Women’s Day in collaboration with Dept. of Pediatrics, DUHS /CHK.

Webinar Series: 

  • Teaching life skills to children with Disability on 20th February, 2021.  

1st Karachi Marigold Festival 

  • Konpal CAPS will be participating in the 1st Karachi Marigold Festival at Frere Hall, Karachi. 
  • Konpal will be setting its stall where a number of activities involving children will be held.
  • Child protection messages will also be imparted to the parents and general public. All are invited.
  • The festival will be held from 22, 23,24 January 2021.

KONPAL DELIVER STATIONARY:

EID DAY CELEBRATION: 

  • On the occasion of Eid ,Konpal distributed Sheer Khurma ( semolina sweet) along with rations to the daily wagers families residing in Khokhrapar, Malir areas.

  1. Seminar on HIV / AIDS in children on HIV-Aids at Dow Medical College, Karachi organize by Konpal CAPS in collaboration with Dow University of Health Sciences, Department of Paediatrics & PPA CRC on On 14th December, 2019.

KONPAL MEMBERS PARTICIPATE:

  1. konpal members participate in walk organized by HELP NGO, theme of walk was “Health for all” on 12th December, 2019. 

UNIVERSAL CHILDREN DAY CELEBRATION:

  1. On the Occasion of Universal Children Day  & 30th Anniversary of UNCRC a WALK is organized on Sunday, 17th November, 2019 at Sea view. The walk will start from Village Restaurant at 03.30 PM. The walk will be led by children. The Theme of the walk is “WE STAND FOR YOUR RIGHTS”. We request all citizens of Karachi to actively participate in the walk with their family
  2. On Universal Children Day a day with the children of Kiran Foundation on 20th November, 2019.
  3. Two days doctor workshop on Child Protection & Early Case Detection & Management of Child Abuse & Neglect in collaboration with Department of Paediatris, DUHS, CHK on 29 to 30 November, 2019 at Professional Development Centre (PDC) Dow University of Health Sciences, Karachi. 

KONPAL TEAM VISIT KUHI GOTH MALIR: 

  1. Konpal team visit Kuhi Goth near malir. A state of art hospital cum training centre for midwives, nurses & paramedics are being setup & run by Dr. Shershah Syed and his dedicated team on 31st August, 2019.

AWARENESS RAISING SEMINAR: 

  1. Awareness raising seminar at Shah Wilayat School on Parenting Skills & Child Protection on 28th August, 2019.

The walk will be led by children. The Theme of the walk is “LET US BUILD A STRONGER PAKISTAN”. We request all citizens of Karachi to actively participate in the walk with their family. Let us pledge together to give a peaceful and stronger Pakistan to our children.
